Dream it! Paint it!
Is my everyday mantra
I have been creating things from the time I can remember. When I was a child, I showed promise of artistic talent and continued using my creativity all through my life.
I have had some training; Graphic Arts at St. Lawrence College Kingston. That's where I learned colour theory, life drawing, typography and design, which helped me immensely. I am very interested in History, art and everything else, which can influence the subjects I like to use in my shows.
I believe art comes from within and is to send a message, not just a pretty picture.
I love to use bold colours and imagery and I don't shy away from controversy. I actually embrace it, more since I am getting older, I am less about pleasing people with art, than sending a message that sometimes is messy.
I know that some people won't like my art for their walls, the proportions are incorrect. Those colours are too bright, but I hope it's memorial and interesting.
I love to challenge myself with different styles and projects. I am always painting and creating even at this moment. I always have projects on the go. I will never give up my passion.
